I'm going to go all Yams and declare terrible. The trailer looks like it could be a cheesy good time until you see that they're dealing with "Predators!" That's the exact moment I yawned. I love the original movie, but let's be honest, the monster design is so goofy. It's like something Napoleon Dynamite sketched. "He's got a shoulder mounted laser cannon and retractable claws. Gosh!"

Here's a little bit more on it:
Apparently there's a new predator creature in this one that looks like a lion or something. Also, Topher Grace is the top name listed on the IMDB page for the movie, but I don't see him anywhere in either of these trailers. Anyway, I'm not really sure what to think of this yet. The director has proved to be mediocre at best so far from what I've seen, but I'm a sucker for this kind of crap and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up going to see it. After all, I did see both AVP movies in theaters
I am just glad the 'awesome' set pieces won't be in a small-town sewer or a high school swimming pool.
I swear, Fox has a special talent for making one hit movie and then riding the characters/franchises straight into the ground. PLANET OF THE APES, ALIEN, etc.
I am not a huge Rodriguez fan but glad some one is passionate about making a good Predator movie again...

Too bad he isn't directing it and instead the guy who directed Armored and Vacancy is. I'm glad Rodriguez is involved, but having a great director produce something doesn't always work out as great as having Peter Jackson produce District 9 did. After all, Quentin Tarantino produced Hostel and look how that turned out.
BTW, I did a GIS for "always negative" since that seems to fit me and it turned up the following image for some reason:

Hey guys - if any of you 'got time to bleed' then I may actually be checking this out at the Mann Chinese 6 Monday night, I think a 7:20pm show. Not going to get advanced tickets (none should be required me thinks) in case plans change, but it is looking pretty good right now.
